EXCURSION HIGHLIGHTS
When the daylight begins to falter, we head to the cabin and settle in for a warm, cosy night. A delicious dinner will be prepared using fresh local ingredients. In the evening we'll heat up the wood-fired sauna and enjoy a well earned rest! You might wish to venture outside to catch a glimpse of the elusive Northern Lights. After a cosy night and a hearty breakfast we'll get back onto our snowmobiles for a tour along the Russian border before heading back to the Kirkenes Snow Hotel where lunch is served in Gabba Restaurant and this adventure ends.
Day 1:
At 12:00 meet with your guide at Rica Arctic or Thon Hotel. Please only bring a small bag, your main luggage can be stored at your hotel. You will be transfered to Kirkenes Snow Hotel, where you can enjoy lunch. After that you will get full instructions and will be provided with protective clothing and a helmet. The Snowmobiles are of very high quality, and regardless of your driving skills, you will have a real winter adventure. Start of your Snowmobile Safari that takes you through the woods, towards the Pasvik Valley. Driving distance for one day is approximately 85 kilometres. The goal is to arrive at Gjoken in Pasvik. When the daylight starts to get darker, we will arrive at the cabins, our warm and cosy home for the night. Enjoy a dinner, prepared with local ingredients. In the evening there is a possibility to visit the sauna, that is heated by wood, and if you want to, you can try "snow-swimming".
Day 2:
After breakfast we continue our snowmobile tour along the Russian border. The tour ends at Kirkenes Snow Hotel, where lunch is served at the Gabba Restaurant. After lunch transfer back to your hotel in Kirkenes.

- Included: 2 persons sharing a snowmobile, overnight in cabins (no showers), incl. breakfast, sauna, 2 x lunch, 1 x dinner, Winter clothing set: overall, winter boots, woollen socks, balaclavas, helmet.
- Important: Good physical conditions, min. 18 years old, travel insurance required , driving licence. Depending on weather conditions, this tour is subject to changes.
