Today's excursion starts with a drive through the fishing village of Kjollefjord, where you can stop to take pictures. Afterwards you continue into the mountains, where you'll head to a Sami camp and meet the Utsi family, who will welcome you into their lavvo dressed in traditional costumes. You will hear about the traditions and the Sami people's way of life, and will also get to hear traditional Sami joik (song). You then go out to see the reindeer where you can try your hand at lassoing. The trip continues up to the Finnmark plateau, 300 metres above sea level, where you might also see reindeer in their natural habitat.
