The Trollfjord is one of Norway's most spectacular fjords. Just north of here, a smaller vessel takes you out to see the sea eagles. First you accompany the Hurtigruten ship into the Trollfjord where you will see it turning around in the narrowest of spaces, a magnificent sight. The eagle safari begins when you leave the Trollfjord, starting with the gulls, which dive for fish right from your hand. The sea eagles can be viewed as they fly in to get a share of the meal. The guides let these beautiful, rare birds of prey circle the boat a few times, before they throw fish into the sea for them to catch. Very often we observe several majestic birds during the trip. Afterwards, we set course for Svolvaer, leaving you with memories that will last long after you return home.

- Note: Hurtigruten ships sail into the Trollfjord from the end of April depending on snow/ice conditions. The excursion may be combined with excursion 9B, 9D, 9E, 9G and 9H
